Buckeye79 and son not Camaro but S10 project "stretch"

    i like it. looks proper. ive always hated a crew cab with a short bed, they look funny. a truck should always have a full size bed to it. though as an after thought, ya could have massaged it to a 6' after a tool box so you still get a true 6' bed with the box in place. still looks really sharp man. good luck with it!

    Dumb question probably. What did you use for a driveshaft? Truck should get some attention from S10 guys, such as me. Lookin' good.

    Drive shaft was from a 98 full size Chevy 2wd. Just had to use the front yolk from the S10 with a crossover u joint.

    Fit perfectly, the seal hit the same spot on the yolk as it did originally

    No we talked about it, but his mom thinks the 4.3L will be plenty of power LOL.
    We do have a 6.0l Escalade motor we are going to be putting in our next project though.

    A couple of his friends have them and they love theirs, of course they are all in love with his truck.

    Ended up getting the SPI epoxy sprayed on the bedsides and over any additional filler work on Friday, then Saturday afternoon we sprayed three coats of filler on the entire bed sides and most of the cab. We only sprayed the lower portions of the doors.
