I'm not a fan of TMZ, but this story appeared on my phone since it involved a classic car. https://www.tmz.com/2019/09/10/kevin-hart-car-disassembled-chp-laws-change/ I'm guessing CHP is talking about a 3-point harness? Also, could this apply to say a 1929 Rolls Royce Phantom that's been restored?
Considering the way the roof was crushed, I don't think a safety harness would have made much of a difference.
Car looks to have had "low back" styled front seats, and no rear seats to speak of, wasn't there 3 people injured??
The cuda had full Carbon fiber body Made by Speedkore in Grafton Wisconsin. So the roof was Carbon fiber
Perhaps the roof was "sawed off" to get the occupants out of there? Wow, that must have been expensive!!
I guess "harness" means cage or roll bar in this instance? Even with a better set of belts, my guess is they weren't using them anyway. But at least then the CHP could have sited them and got some revenue out of the deal.
I don’t want a roll cage on my car, that should only apply to people like Kevin Hart who have more money than brains to buy a 700 hp plus car and go canyon carving as a passenger while your friend drives a car he’s not familiar with
