I am good with the safe AFR and WOT. Not aware of any transfer slot restrictors being used on this thing guess I will find out once i open this up. So yes i am using a Single 780 carb with a 177 blower. Gives me about 7 lbs of boost.

So update dug up the drill bits that i used on the IAB's i had put the old jets into the perspective bags which caused me to believe i have resized IAB's in the car already turns out i did. primary is .076 and secondary is .086. I also pulled the metering block to see what i have. Made a mess of the gaskets not sure if standard holley gaskets will work or do i need to get a expedited shipment from prosystems.

From the looks of the metering block the lower IFR holes are being used also was not expecting IFA restrictors that use an allen key. the blanks i bought show a flat screwdriver slot but matched the size of the IFA.

Picture of the metering block looks totally foreign to me.

Well made one more note. Spec sheet states a 5.5 PV but what is in the metering block is a 6.5 PV not sure if i am trusting the rest of this.

I didn't like my post at all. Had to delete it. No one deserves to be trashed like what I wrote. At most, I should have PM'ed you with my experience. If I had a bird I'm sure he would have called me the same. lol Really hope you get this straightened out. I'm sure you will.

well more to add when i got the carb the idle was butt rich spewing out crap out the tailpipes to no end pretty sure i posted pics of that. Ended up being that the IAB's that were put into the carb were blanks more fuel for the fire...Again i am not a carb guy but the 650 sitting on my workbench is looking good. Phil BTW my bird calls me stinky every time i run the car...

Maybe if you make it to Rock Falls sometime I can put one of my many carbs I have so you can test one there.

    Regular Holley gasket will work.

Also, make sure the kill bleed/anti pull over bleed is fully drilled through to the main well. I have repaired several billet blocks that this was an issue such as what you experiencing (to a point). Sized around .028 to .033 pending various factors, start at .028 if not drilled through.

I would also do the exact same check/repairs to the rear metering block.

No biggie about the 5.5 vs 6.5 PV either.

So a bit of a set back. Had ordered IFR restrictors before i knew that the metering block used a more set style allen wrench restrictor and not the type quick fuel uses. That's a bit of a problem as the QF ones extend above the metering body enough to not allow it to sit flush with the body of the carb. So I am hoping i can find a 6-32 set screw at the ACE hardware store and then use the blanks that are in the emulsion holes for the IFR's. If not i may have to go back to prosystems and get them. The bit that i searched i came up empty.
