Carbon fiber/billet aluminum fender braces

    Really nice, did you find the CF tubing and then make the ends?

    3875D24B-9B9F-4D36-835C-010A688A4478.jpeg Yeah I bought the tube and the aluminum online, total was like 50$. I machined and welded them where I work. Also did some test pieces with epoxy and it’s very strong bond. I was looking online and didn’t really like what was available for our cars, so I figured I could make something better and much cheaper.

    Really nice work, however, yours always is, I wish I had 1/2 of your fab skills, you and a few others on this site, really do nice work.

    Thanks for the compliment. Ive done a little work on the mill and lathe for my last job. My current employer sent me to school for welding. It was a 6 month course. I’ve always wanted to learn it and ended up doing the class a couple years ago. Helped me out with the camaro a bunch lol. Gotta be willing to try things or you won’t learn. Plus I really enjoy building stuff, which helps.

    Nice, I just spent my time smoking cigarettes, in welding class, back in HS, so needless to say I didn't learn poo, I figured, when would I ever need to know this crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAA HA , if I had only known :(
