He is a Tampa Bay fan...
Thinking now, I don’t remember hearing anything about them this year.
more like never will unless he either buys one at a pawn shop or gets it as a 2nd stringer like he should be.
Next year will be the Detroit Lions' year!
Yeah, I'm delusional, but I would guessed most of you know that by now
I knew it was going to be a long shot but I was hoping to see the Chiefs and Packers. Would have been a rematch of Super Bowl I
I was hoping for a SB1 rematch as well.
You mean that season, a decade ago, when the Packers had the #2 defense in the NFL?
Rodgers wasn't (and isn't) good enough to win a SB unless he has one of the top defenses in the NFL.
Rodgers was the 7th ranked QB in the playoffs in 2009 when he won the SB. Basically an "average" QB.
Since then, in NFC Championship games, Rodgers has basically been irrelevant.
In 2014 he lost to the Seachickens. His stat line - 19 for 34, 178 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT's with a QB rating of 55.8%
In 2016 he lost to the Falcons. His stat line - 27 for 45, 287 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT, with a QB rating of 91.6%
We all know what happened yesterday. 65 yards passing in the first half, 0 TD's, 1 INT, 2 fumbles and a QB rating of 57.1. He finished well in garbage time making it 326 yards passing, 2TD's, 2 INT's, 3 fumbles and a 97.2 QB rating. Thanks to garbage time stats....
Aaron has played his entire career in Green Bay. The Packers (the team, not just Aaron) made the playoffs 10 times since he joined the team. Aaron, in his first playoff appearance lost to the Cardinals - in what was a hilarious epic failure by fumbling the ball in OT at his own 17 yard line and Karlos Dansby doing a scoop and score for the game winning TD.
Cousins started his career with the Washington Redskins and they only made the playoffs one year he was there. He's been in MN 2 seasons, had a different OC each season, and he led the team to a playoff victory in his first playoff appearance as a Viking.
What will Cousins do in the future? I really don't know. But Cousins is getting better, while Rodgers is getting older, slower, injury prone and has exhibited declining skills.
I'd put my money on Cousins to win a SB in the next 5 years over Rodgers.
Your opinion may vary.
Sounds like you're doing your best to convince yourself again.
can you guess who tops the list?
it's pretty well known it's pats fans that came up with that list. They'll do anything to try and get rid of the * attached to all their Superbowl "wins"
The only way Kirk Cousins is going to a Super Bowl is if he buys tickets.
I had pop come thru my nose when I read he will be at the Super Bowl in 5 yrs. maybe as an announcer.
