Yep, was pretty nasty out that way Saturday. Wrapped up working on the Camaro early and tried to get home before too much built up. County Road 51 was iced and snow covered, and very low visibility. Got much better just south of Galeton, and by Greeley it was light snow that melted when it hit.
I just wonder if it's setting a trend for the whole winter, or if it's getting it all out early. We'll see.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Man! In thirty-five years here (and fifty on the front range!), I don't know that I recall three (plus) inches of snow staying and crusting on the ground like this,...
Without some significantly higher winter temps, this crusted stuff will be on the ground until spring! Especially the 2' drift in the pasture,...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, all!
    Todd.

Well at least you'll have a somewhat white Christmas A-B!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

White Christmas up here! Plenty of snow still on the ground,...still cold, too.
    Probably have a white New Year's Day, a white Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day,...Easter?
    Thanks, nutchevy and TFF!
Again, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Enjoy,...be safe.

I sure hope that you guys are getting SOME of this snow! I'm tired of owning all of the snow up here,...
We just finished melting the 1"+ that we got just after Christmas, and now there's at least 2 -3" more on the ground,...so far! It's supposed to keep snowing through 2PM,...
And we still have 3"+ of crusty, icy snow, under that, left over from Thanksgiving,...!
Jerry was right - the snow was just getting started in November,...the trend continues.

It’s been snowing for a few hours now in Highlands Ranch but the main streets are plowed, not that bad.

The 22 mph wind is making a real mess out of about three inches of light snow,...we'll have to 4x4 out of the driveway, again. Second big one in thirty days.
I've not seen anything like this constant accumulation in 35 years at our house here,...or my 50 years in northern Colorado.
Hey, Mike,...our plow drivers only have to work 1/2 of the roads out here,...the wind clears the other 1/2 (usually the north-south roads)!
All be safe and have a great new year's!
    Todd.
