Does that mean you're driving it to Iola?
No, I don't trust it enough to drive to Iola at this point. I'm just happy to have it on the road.
I still haven't washed it either. It's in no shape for a car show right now.
I will tell you guys one thing from my experience with Itlbreak. We got an intake that was mis-machined and it was a nightmare getting them to replace or fix it. After showing eddy the errors of their ways the relented and paid my machinist to fix it. Then to top it off the guy I dealt with said eddy would be sending me t-shirts, some goody bags and a bunch of other stuff for the hassle we went through on this, guess what?, eddy sent NOTHING!. I will not buy their products ever again, the newer stuff is garbage and those who cannot machine parts should be fired.
Might have had a trapped steam pocket.
Cal we are parked in the same spot at IOLA if you do make it...Terry weather has been awesome so far.
I'm planning to make it out there tomorrow. We'll be driving to Steven's Point this afternoon, and I think my wife is going to drop me off in Iola sometime tomorrow morning.
As far as the coolant leak(s) go, I think the leak on the drivers side near the dipstick tube has stopped. I have not seen any coolant there before or after the last several times I've driven it.
The coolant leaking on the passenger side was coming from the plug. I didn't have it tight enough because I was afraid of over torqueing the aluminum threads. I tightened that up last night after I washed the car. This morning I see there is some coolant hanging around the back corner of the head/block, but I think it's too soon to tell if it's just residual coolant from the loose plug or if it's actually leaking.
Great i will be there early in the morning.
Hope you guys are having a great time. Post some pics
Well not a Camaro but this thing is cool...
I've had that leak before and used what GM put in every one of their cars for decades....2 Tabs and it was solved. That was 8 years ago.
