Got my round of golf in today. Was a little colder than expected (upper 40's when we teed off at 9:15 AM) - didn't wear shorts - but still just wore a windshirt.

I just had to take a ride to pick up a prescription. Went by two courses. No one out there. Too hot.

Still stuck in the 30s here. Please send me about 30 degrees of your heat. Then we all can have decent temps.

Still in Florida. Hopefully by the end of November I'll be in NY.

You all are catching back there .We run from the 30`s to the low 60`s in the Pacific NW .Of which is normal for this time of year.

30 degrees this morning and the fog is rolling off the pond. It's peak leaf season here in Maine and unfortunately, when we leave Monday morning to return to Illinois, the forecast is for rain so we won't be seeing much.

    I thought so...

What's the sense in living in the "Sunshine State" if you can't even golf in October - much less June, July and August?

The community I lived in had a course (Venetian Bay - check it out) which indeed is a very nice course. There were times golfers had to stop and "take a break" because of the heat. In the five years I was there, I played in a tournament that was sponsored by the subdivision I lived directly in. It was held for one year - no more. When sign ins were scheduled the following year, only a few signed up so it was canceled.

I was heading up to NY during the Christmas season a few years ago. I posted on our website (Promenade Parke) when I return, if anyone would like to play, send me a message. I also suggested if enough are interested, think about forming a league. With all the homes we should have a large response.

One person replied. Think the temps had anything to do with it?
