crimp tool?

    Looking to find a crimp tool, tired of soldiering...
    reasonably priced and makes good crimps--I used the MSD spark plug wire crimp ratcheting crimp tool and WOW it was nice.

    1st. WHAT are you crimping? weather pak, metripak, universal stuff???

    Crimping done right is better than soldering. Klein tools makes a great crimp tool.

    Mostly splicing and creating terminals. Probably won't nee for weather packs.
    Most crimp jobs I see are total crap(single crimp autozone special crap) which is why I soldier

    They sure are,most have zero clue how to properly crimp a wire terminal. Once you figure out how crimp tools work,there is no need to solder.

    Get a ratchet type that does both insulated and non-insulated terminals.

    The most important thing to remember about crimping is,don't destroy the terminal end by distorting it. The split will go in the cradle of the tool and the pin will do the crimping.

    Here are a few of my crimpers,I crimp everything.
