The roads will stay the same and we will still see the most road work right before the budgets are set for the following year.

    Same sheit, different pile.

dont they have a gas tax to fund roads? doesnt law enforcement fall under general fund in the grand tax scheme? if you read the fine print, adot can bump the yearly fee up or down as they need funds, when a the last time ANY politician found a way to turn down money?
I sent a nasty email to the governors office, everyone should do the same.
if it's about highway safety, why not bump the gas tax .05 a gallon and let everyone that buys gas in arizona pay for it not just the residents. jim

When our city cut trash pickup to once a week and gave us a recycling can and didn't cut the price. I fill my trash can and leave the recycling can empty. But every trash day both cans are on the curb. If they are charging to pick it up
They are going to pick up a empty can every week.
We need to get our 32 bucks back from the state somehow. call it the silent resistance.

Looks like they are going re-visit this fee in the new legislation session. The same news cast is talking about how to spend the 1.1 billion dollar surplus this year.

In Michigan where we have "No-Fault" insurance, we pay $173.00 "Catastrophic Claims" plus $36.00 for "Other Statutory Assessments". So when someone involved in a serious accident is permanently disabled, WE pay for their lifetime care instead of their insurance companies. Just last year, there was talk of abolishing the fee. Instead, the asshats in Lansing raised it. We pay some of the highest rates in the country.
