Factory Turbo Z..??

    Yup,that is called a draw thru system,it is the same way the Pontiac 301 turbo T/A's were built and the first V-6 turbo Buick V-6's were built back in the late/70's. Basically,those 2 applications had the turbo being worth about 50 hp or less.

    I would probably do it by pulling the front tires and going thru the opening between the upper control arm and wheelwell. Or maybe get them from under the car.

    I was around back then too ... I knew guys with brand new 81 TA turbos . I just never looked at them. . There was a guy at the plant who had a 81 Monte Carlo turbo . We just never payed attention to them . I was driving a 70 cuda .

    guy had a complete turbo kit for sale on craigslist around here a while back, i should have bought it, but its so outdated compared to newer stuff.

    Google image " 80 hair styles " if you want to see something silly from the 80s . Pretty much everything was kinda cheesy and silly .

    Actually the mullet transcended a few decades . I was more along the lines of the female doos . There was some BIG hair in the 80s above and below .
