    UPDATE.

There appears to be some new competition.

Holley is taking pre-orders and claims to be ready to ship by end of March 2016.

I for one am curious to see how well the Holley system will handle timing control as Fi Tech's 3X3 table lacks the timing control one would expect from efi.

There is also a system with fuel pump (bottom picture) but pricing information is unavailable at this time.

    EDIT January 22,2016: New Info....

Spoke with Fi Tech over the phone earlier today and I gotta update some important information. Fi Tech offers 3X3 fuel/spark tables and 10X12 fuel/spark tables depending on the model you have.

Fi Tech 600 hp (#30001/30002) offers only 3X3 fuel/spark table control. This is done through the handheld unit. There is no option to hook up to a personal computer (PC).

Fi Tech power adder versions 600 hp (#30004) and 1200 hp (#30012) offer up to 10X12 fuel/spark table when programmed through a PC....but when you access the TBI onboard computer through the handheld unit you can only change 9 points (3X3) even though the unit is capable of 10X12.

I just subscribed to Holley's email updates on this system. I also would be interested in how it handles ignition timing.

Which has always been the case with all efi, old news. Where efi typically shines is overall drivability, much better ability to adapt to varied conditions, part throttle, etc. Much more than wot performance. And new carbs are not cheap either!

I still want to see how the electronics hold up on the long run in real world. I want to see 20,000 miles on a setup.

Kewl, keep us informed on this project please. :) I'm going with a different setup soon and toying with efi, so I'm watching these kind of threads.

My brother bought and installed FI-Techs system on his 496 ci '67 Chevelle .
He really likes it and told me the technical assistance he received was very friendly and knowledgeable. He is extremely happy with the purchase of this system.

A couple of my buddies are getting in good with those guys, They are a super open shop invite you in show you their projects kind of people. I have two concerns with them though, longevity and range of tune-a-bility.
