Hello All. I finally gave up and gave in with this fitech issue I am having.
    Setup:
    5.7 V8 - Stock w/ edelbrock intake
Turbo Charged - 10 lbs. boost

    Issues:
after acceleration and on deceleration from cruising or WOT, AFR goes way lean (16.0 -20) and almost dies. Seems to happen more dramatically under hard braking.
When I shift into gear from park to drive or drive to park, seconds later, I will have this same lean spike and the engine almost dies.

I have talk with the tech guys at fitech and after trying what they had advised, it made the problem worse. They think its getting too much fuel and the system overcorrects. However after doing what they said and nothing changed, I lost interest in talking with them.

I have been working on this problem for about three months trying all sorts of things from the forums across the internet with no luck.

    Any advise with be helpful.

Do you have any live data of it showing this problem so we could read it?
Is there a rich spike prior to the lean out?
I have heard issues with the fi tech and turbos causing similar issues. Letting off drops boost which in turn lowers fuel need so it should have a slight rich spike prior to the massive lean out.

    Hey Peck.
I have the data log file however having difficulty uploading it here.
How would you correct the issue you and I are both describing?

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. Do you have an email I can send the data log to?

Are you running an open loop system or closed?

Do you have a base map tuned for your car or utilizing the learning properties all together?

    I’m running factory settings.
The only thing I’ve changed are acc pump and fast acc pump to compensate for acceleration stumbles.
However the lean issue was present before my Accel Pump tuning.

Maybe lower the rpm for 100% of fuel pump to slightly over your idle rpm.
