We got 4" of snow on Dec 1 here, but then it warmed up too much and it all melted. Today we got another 4" of snow. maybe this time it will last longer. I know, 4" isn't going to work yet for snowmobiling. But, as we get farther into winter, there should be more snow.

I hope so. We only got out twice last year in washington. The third trip was all ice and the sleds kept overheating. Need to replace the broken ice scratchers this year.

Green lawn here. No snow anywhere near me.

    Might get some this weekend.

Not helping the cause. Snowmobiling is just as bad a drug as camaros, hopped sleds, track walking in the powder, extreme speed and launches. I NEED MY FIX.

Just sold both of mine. I've had sleds since the mid 70s so I ain't feeling so good about it. I Just never had a chance to ride so I sold them before they were completely worthless.

We rely on the snow to recharge our well in Maine. There hasn't been any snow to speak of there which is really starting to worry me for next summer. It's supposed to be 51 degrees there tomorrow and 48 on Sunday. Tough to build a snowpack with those temperatures.

Cooler temperatures and snow moved in there this week, and typically our weather moves east to Illinois and the rest of your area. If this follows normal pattern, it should be coming your way in a week or so. Hopefully you get the cooler temps and snow soon too.
