    I just hope the bear stays afraid of Riley, otherwise the outcome would not be good.

    Black bears are used to prey running from them. When something is after them, it's surprises them and they run off. Now, if it was a Grizzly or Polar bear, the dog would be lunch. Black bears that get chased a lot do learn but most of the time, they run away.

    I allow my neighbor's cat to come on my farm land and chases / eat mice :D - its sort of the same.....haha no....
