Just bought the OER AC vents for the right and left side of lower dash. They dont tell you that they do not come as a complete assembly with the chrome lever/knob thats used to open and close the vents so you have to reuse your current ones. My question to those who have done this is how did you attach the lever to the new OER vent? The raised round area on the OER vent where the lever attaches is a little smaller in diameter than the mating area on the lever plus there is no hole for what I'll call a rivet. Even if you drill ahole and make the rivet a tight fit that will be the only thing holding the lever on. Any help would be appreciated.

Lately these have been showing up on Ebay as copies & they are great. I assume you have a '70 by your screen name, they are worth the money spent
1970 Camaro Assembly Manual. they usually run about 20 to 25 by the time you add shipping, sometimes it is included & it is like 23 to 25

When my car was being done over, I bought 2 of them, one ofor the shop & one for me (altho I have a 1973)

I just checked me OER vents and the tabs are on them. They look just like my originals on a 78. They arent chromed knobs though.
