Will full length headers hit on 434 sbc on a ‘70 Camaro?
Frankly, that would depend on the headers. The full length headers on my 81 are nice and high and have plenty of clearance. I agree with DB Z28, I doubt any headers from a reputable company would hit.
I have Hedman full length headers on my Camaro...and it is lowered with coil springs a solid 2" in the front. They hug the floorboards very well. The collectors are hardly any lower than the subframe.
My American racing headers don't hit anything and my car is lowered.
I'm using Hedman 65104, they're full length, 1 3/4" primaries. It's a tight fit all the way around but they do fit. I also have lowering springs on the front. Make sure your body bushings are in good shape. If not, now is a good time to replace with solids.
Any full-length header is going to drop your ground clearance to some degree.
You really need to be more specific if you want accurate answers
(and I fixed your survey)
Bonzo,did your full
Length headers interfere with the T-56 slave cylinder? Where are you located? I’d love to check your car out at some point. I’m in Denville.
I am running a mechanical clutch, no hydraulics.
I have hooker 2117-1HKR no clearance issues
