On a firebird yes. On a Camaro NO
I like it. I would not put it on my car! It fits that car perfect.
I kinda like it but I also like the split bumpers on a non rs car too.
I like it and want to put it on my next split bumper car.
I dont know... for whatever reason there doesn't seem to be an aftermarket hood that compliments sculpted lines on a 2nd gen Camaro hood.
The firebirds seem to do better with these forward facing scoops.
I've only seen two hoods that worked on an early 2nd gen IMHO... one was POS71RS's custom hood where he grafted a small cowl hood scoop off a chevelle. The other was a guy in a magazine a long time ago who grafted a 4th gen SLP ram air scoop.
Pontiac dual snorkel hood on a Camaro would look like sh*t
I think part of our objection to things like this is because our mind sees a Firebird part on a Camaro and just thinks it's wrong. Even if we like modified stuff and like birds as well as Camaros. Someone who wouldn't know a Challenger from a Chevelle might think the Formy scoops look great on the Camaro but our minds just think it's wrong. I wouldn't/couldn't do it and I like both cars.
Depending on the Camaro and hood Mfg I like the L-88 style.
That is the best looking hood from all the second gen Camaros and Firebirds combined.
That said, I wouldn't put it on a Camaro.
