They will soon actually I had to sift through and organize the pics to get an idea of what went where. I use an at home server now and it’s taking some time to get this done.

Success!!!! I finally got all of the photos fixed on the build thread.... and now for some updates:

The tailpanel is fully welded in also I moved to the passenger frame rail. It had a lot of problems that needed to be addressed.

First off I ordered up a frame rail for a 70-73 and cut out the section that I would need.

Then I cut out the bad section and prepped the area to have the new piece installed.

If you look close I added tabs to help gusset the frame rail. The new piece has corresponding holes so I can plug weld the two together as well as butt weld them

This is what I wound up with once I was finished.

Since the frame rail is now solid I can move onto replacing the torque box, I’ll take some pics tomorrow of the progress.

I cut a section of the floor out to remove the torque box. I’ll be reusing the floor section after I fix 2 thin spots I found.

I didn’t get a chance to get the torque box out yet. It’ll be another week or so before I can work on the car again.

Took awhile to read all 17 pages, excellent work I did a few cj jeeps frame off when I was younger lots of work but very gratifying when done(think that was the word I wanted). I just joined here as I was looking for info on camaros, I am a mopar guy or was one, three weeks ago I won a 1975 type lt custom one of a kind build and am learning as much as I can on them. One question why don’t you use a small turbo heater in the garage when it’s cold. But then you get condensation if it gets to warm in there

I have a propane heater, it’s a wall mount. It takes the edge off of the cold, but the garage isn’t insulated so until I get that project complete I’m limited as to how much heat I can get in there.

Thanks for the kind words, you’ve come to the right place for info. I did a lot of reading at first, especially build threads.

I just got a chance to get some work done on the car yesterday before work. I managed to get the torque box mostly cut out of the car. I have to clean up the rest of the metal before I start fitting the new one. 8C38AC45-52A9-42AB-AA65-A46427C304C6.jpeg

I’m hoping the torque box and new frame rail play nice together, I’ll know soon enough.
