Mike has the headers to test fit in his possession, so were just waiting for his schedule to provide the needed time to get them on.

I received a message from Mike last week that he was hoping to have the time to give the test fit a shot this weekend. As of now, I've not received any confirmation of that happening. I hopefully that I'll get an update in the morning.

So my problem side was/is the passenger side which i changed out on sat. The later model headers fit much better. I gained 3/4" of bottom clearance from what it was. So my car is 24 3/4 from finished floor to bottom of fender lip, which is pretty low, and the frame is at 4 1/8 and the headers are now at 2 7/8. Much better, but still a little room to go up, theres now 3/4 to 7/8 from the top of the header at the collector to the floor boards. I was out again tonite (I haven't been home the last 5 nites) so pics will take me a few to down load to pbucket and get on here.....
Drivers side next but i'm gone this weekend, hopefully next weekend but i have a track day planned for May 3/4 so i may swap the existing ones out for the track as opposed to the late model ones for the trac day.....first day on the track in this car, total newb. Will be going easy, no cage and ZERO track experience, and will have an instructor with me.....cant wait...

Its hard to believe that this conversation went dead without any clear fixes for a VERY important situation that could have helped so many of us that are in the process of doing a LS swap into a early 2nd gen or for the ones who are looking forward to doing one.
