Just curious, what oil pan are most of you'll running? I've got a 1980 I'm building with the Hooker mounts, 6.0 and T56. I currently have a Fbody LS1 oil pan but have a chance to get a CTS-V oil pan dirt cheap. Just wasn't sure if it would clear everything.

So is anybody running the Hooker swap components and a CTS-V oil pan?

Not sure about that CTS pan, but the F-Body pan would fit perfectly with no clearance issues.

Yes, I have the Hooker swap mounts and the CTS-V pan. It barely hangs 1/4" below the crossmember. I like this pan because it hold 2 quarts more than the F-body pan.

Sorry the engine is out now or I would send a picture. With previous swap mount it hung about 1/2" below but the Hooker mounts seem to hold the engine a 1/4" higher.

Thanks for the reply. That was my thought about the extra oil capacity. I may try and sell my pan to get the CTS-V pan.

Do these mounts fit an LQ4 block or is there some modification that needs to be done?
