hooker long tube for 1973 camaro ls swap

    i have 73 camaro and i have a deal on 75-81 hooker long tube headers . most off company liste 1970-81 the same but what hare the frame difference so hookers have different fitment for 70-74 and 75-81 headers .

    the 73 motor mount hare the big one the same as 81 or most 73 up gm .

    can i make those 75-81 stanless long tube header fit my 73 ?

    No portion may be used with or without permission
    I use all holley ls swap stuff and never had an issue. It would be best for you to call holley and ask whats the difference
    and see if you can modifiy from there.

    I actually bought the 70-73 set off CL for my 75 and they fit no problems

    How is the clearance from the ground on them, do you have some pics of them?

    I thought there was a difference in how low the collector hung below the car. I was pretty sure the earlier version hung a little lower do to a variation in the floor board or something. If I remember right, a member on here complained his seemed to low and he then tried the latter version on his pre 74 model, said there was no fitment issue and didn't hang as low.
