Horn wire color in steering column

    Hey guys what color is the horn wire in the steering column in a 73 Camaro?
    Need to get the horn going.

    Yup black, but there is one diagram Nasty doesn't have listed in they're electrical section and that is with the relay under the dash like in my '73 RS instead of being mounted to the engine bay firewall...

    Thanks guys not sure where the relay is.
    I have no power to that black wire now what?
    run a hot wire to it?

    Black is not a power wire. It is a ground for the relay to activate the relay. You need to find the relay to determine if it has power and if the the black wire is providing the ground when you depress the the horn button.
