I've been saving a few of those Foldgers red plastic coffee cans for storage, but I can't stand the coffee smell (I don't drink coffee). Is there a trick to getting the smell out?

Just fill it with dried chili peppers and store it overnight. You will never smell coffee in it again.

Used differential fluid will hide the coffee smell. ;)

Most any solvent should work.... Lacquer thinner, acetone, rubbing alcohol.

+1 and I had the same question ...

Seriously, that odor stays in the can for a looooonnnnngggg time. If you're not a coffee enthusiast, get different containers.
