This is the setup speed engineering 1-7/8 headers, speed engineering 3" off road y pipe, Phab catback, SLP lid with smooth bellow, Richmond 3.73 gears, and NGK TR6 spark plugs also has LS6 intake manifold it’s a 5.3 LM7 Engine I’ve never dyno’d it & just wondering if someone here can tell me approximately how much hp I’m looking at top speed. Thanks!!

I doubt that being a 5.3 with its factory cam. I would say around 275hp to the tires. Being an auto it will dyno lower than a manual trans.

It can definitely get it that’s for sure I’m thinking about saving up & going to upgrade the engine to an LS2 at some point I think my trans would be able to handle it

It won’t make a power difference. Also consider dyno # are cool and all, but they are tuning tools. The true performance of the engine and the car is on the street. Your butt dyno and what it does at the track.

I remember racing with my buddy in his 1996 Z28, probably 275 to the tires and it was a blast.

Yeah I’m totally in love with my car but I’m eventually gunna swap an LS2 into it & I believe my trans should be able to handle it
