Sold my house last week, ran out and got a heck of a deal on a nice trailer the next day (under $4k), and it's all heading south next month. Plan to find work in Charlotte, leaving my snow shovel with the house. Might be driving back and forth 3 or 4 times to get it done.

Might want to bring an Ice scraper. Even here in Florida our windshield get a layer of ice at times.

Good luck! When you said trailer, before I saw the pic I thought you meant travel trailer, like tiny house living.:)

You might need a snow shovel (well, more like scraper) for a time or two a year if you want to go out in it, or just wait 12 hours and it'll be gone. If you want a good show, sit on the corner of a busy intersection when they get a dusting.:D

My sister has lived in Charlotte area since '93. I don't suspect she'll ever leave. We have some tradesmen that travel from that area to work here (Northern VA near DC)- stay during the week, travel home on the weekend.

You still might need a snow shovel in Charlotte more often than you think. The company I work for has a dispatch office and terminal up there. Nice area.

I'll be keeping my distance, like Mooresville. We will be combing the area before we settle in.
