Gotcha...did by chance pass the info and site along to your Chevelle crowd?
Posted a thread at Team Chevelle with a link to your store.
No problem. Might be a bit further along on mine so you can have a look as well!
I am going to want a ride in it when done
I will happily oblidge you.
Are you going to post up pics of the Orange vs the Red LEDs? Im a little torn on which way to go. I can make an argument for both.
Orange would "match" the orange turn signals already in use. Red may be more visible or draw more attention. I am leaning towards orange at the moment, but go back and forth.
These are the production LED's if you notice the orange bulbs are somewhere between amber/orange. I felt these would more closely match side markers and front turn signals:
Red (This is a 4th GEN mirror)
Comparison of colors:
If you notice on the amber lens there is a lot more light leakage around the edge. This is the difference between a 42 year old mirror and a 10 year old mirror. If this bothers you then I recommend that while your glass is out take a paint brush and carefully paint the edge of your mirror black. This will stop the light from leaking through the edge of the glass. The mirror finish does not go all the way to the edge there is a 1/32 - 1/16" gap where the glass was cut and the edge polished.
paid for a set of oranges.
Received thank you!
