is this a staggered bolt starter?

    sorry about the crappy pics but i was sticking my phone under the car and snapping pics.

    looks to me like its a staggered bolt pattern but before i pull the trigger on buying something i was wanting some more input. also if thats what it is what would the tooth count be on the flex plate so i get the right one.

    David- if you're looking for a replacement, consider the early 90s S10 Vortec 4.3 starters. They're a gear reduction unit, lightweight, and a LOT cheaper than aftermarket gear reduction starters.

    Do a search here, some specifics will come up.

    I would reccomend pulling the starter sometimes blocks are drilled for both staggered and straight
