One of these days Gordo....one of these days, lol.

I was looking at the alt and I though it might hit. So which one do I need or should I move it up high like the Vette mounting...above the PS pump?

I didn't know that this had the LS6 shortblock and intake already..WOOT. SO looking at the cam swap...now if I could find some cheap LS6 heads, or better.

It will hit your pittman arm. Mine did. I have the same engine in my car.

I called Speed and Performance for an alt relocation kit and it was $550.
So you don't want to call them. My car was just in a shop with the boys
doing the install and I didn't have many options or time back in 2006.

Some one posted some OTHER options, I believe it was Knuckle Dragger recently.....
Here's where mine is, and yes, I tossed the A/C stuff too.

I have to move the AC up on the pass side, so I'll need to raise the alt on the drivers side or figure out the mount for a low mount on the drivers side

    Wow! your asking alot!

I just saw the new Camaro L99 motor on HPTV yesterday in which they installed a blower. It didnt make 450 at the wheels...close at 448hp...
To get that much wheel hp out of your LS1, you need to produce over 550hp...

I would like to hear if you make that goal or not.

Looking around, I'm curious how you got the HP figures off that cam ??

I'm looking and I see 345-400rwhp.....just curious if you verified this ??
I was looking to swap cams too so I was just curious.

Just looking at what others have made with the same mods. Only the dyno knows what it'll make. Heck, it might not make 350...we'll see if I ever get it in.

if you swap it with a gt11 mild cam and patriot LS6 stage 2 heads , get some arp bolts and springs, it will preduce 400whp with a good drivetrain,
any nos in the future? maybe 75 spray for fun?
