Where you putting them then ?? Just curious

I'm going to go with these on my 2nd build. I like the Stainless idea 100x better.

Those headers are sweet! Gives me motivation to work towards my swap...

I'd put the bungs in the pipe just behind the headers so you don't have to mess up the coating! If you don't have cats, a few inches farther won't make much difference...

Trust me that coating is crap anyways. It wont last much past the initial startup.

That's disappointing; you'd expect better for $520 or so. Did yours burn off, flake off, turn a different color or what?

These are stainless so I hope they will look good for a long time. From the Edelbrock site....

These high quality engine conversion headers are made from 409 stainless steel tubing with 3/8" thick port and collector flanges. They are Ti-TECH coated, a ceramic based high-temp coated, for corrostion resistance and durability.

JJ - Did you go with the A-body mounts or the early F-body mounts? I presume the A-body?

I'm gonna try the f-body mounts first. My head gaskets for the LS6 heads didn't come in with the headers so I'm still on the engine stand.
