I'm looking for some suitable headers for my LS motor swap. Thinking that full length with 1 7/8 primaries would be a sensible move as I'm likely to be running N2O in the future...

Dougs D333-R look like a potential candidate at a sensible price.

Does anyone know of anything else suitable at a similar or better price?

I have the Dynatechs. They are well built but they do hang lower than the frame.

I would want a set that don't hang below the frame. Had a set of Hedman on my 350 and beat the bottoms with speed bumps.

On my '81 the Hooker headers are perhaps 1/4" below the subframe. Happy with them although Hooker claims they require their swap mounts which offset the engine 3/8" to the driver's side.
If/when they wear out I will try the Stainless Works headers.

Mine bottom out quite a bit. I believe there is less than 3 inches clearance but I have lowered the car 2 inches all around. I'm considering shorty headers but if the hookers only hang down a 1/4 inche they might be a good option.

I have the Hooker headers and mounts and the fit is great. Contact Keith at Customworks and he will get you the right combo....

    Are you using other mounts?
