Actually, my hoses are plumbed backwards. I will be re-plumbing for hydroboost. If I weren't, the pressure line would likely be more direct, but the return line would be even trickier to run using these loops given the tight clearance at the reservoir. And someone noted to me that the experts say looping hoses upwards like this a no-no (though I'm not convinced that's really a problem given that I've seen upward loops on production cars).

Yeah, it doesn’t matter...it’s a hydraulic system, it’s not gravity fed.

Well, Tobin at KORE3 says with a 9" dual diaphragm vacuum booster, I should be OK. He a Hydratech dealer, so he easily could have steered me that direction. (KORE3 is by far the best vendor I've encountered on this build.) So stay tuned...

Was able to get that fitting out of the plastic reservoir without breaking anything, and re-plumbed my lines - correctly, this time. Details are on my build thread.

^ it’s a nice system, I couldn’t get over the fact the whole system hangs on the water pump bolts.

Love the Holley drive system but, I am also worried about that water pump. If/when that pump fails, where would you get another? Hope Holley carries it for life. Good looking system for sure.

Thesalboy, glad that fitting came out...made a huge difference in plumbing for you.
