Received some pictures of the inner door panels this company is producing. I think these are for 1st gens, talking to Christina at the company they are prototyping a similar door panel for the 2nd gens. Apparently they will made out of fiberglass and covered with various materials/colors.

They will also do custom work (I'm assuming coverings, etc.). I'll probably just ask for one in a raw form, but here they are.

I like the look of the black/gray one, would look great in my '71. It would match perfectly. Definitely something I would like to look into further.

    Any idea's on costs ??
Obviously the more they can sell the cheaper it becomes, just wondering what the initial costs are for a set .....

I asked about cost, they wouldn't quote me a number, the only car that has them right now was the 1st Gen that was at the SEMA show. I'm on a contact list so I was told. when they will be available they will let me know.

Those are sweet. Keep us updated on $$. I am looking to make some mild custom door panels for my '79, and if these are cost effective I just may go through them.

Keep us posted I like them a lot better than the stockers. One question though, what do you do for door pulls?

I forget the name of the company (they are more into street rods), but they do custom door panels for that crowd, and offer numerous variations of door pulls, don't think it would really be an issue..

The name of the website is www.roddoors.com offer alot of arm rests, limited in pulls. Lokar also offers pulls but pricey. Unless the armrests shown in above site serve a multi purpose. Something like this may work. I do have two books that show how to make custom pulls/armrests - could probably come up with some that fits the contour of the panel better once we see what it's going to look like.

Here's a shot of the Marquez Camaro with panels installed, too bad it only shows half of it. Hope they don't mind me linking to it.
