Today's to do project is done lol

    1. Mounted Holley EFI pressure filter regulator.

    2. Resize and clean up the steel braided AN lines from my old setup with the corvette filter regulator to use on this new one.

    3. Pulled my fuel line with painted over and oxidized gravel guard. Cleaned and replaced the gravel guard with new stainless version

    4. Moved my fuel tank breather / check valve to the spot in the body cavity out of the way

Almost ready to put my axle back in

word of warning about that check valve... it doesnt prevent fumes from escaping. your garage will probably end up smelling like gasoline vapors.

my Tanks Inc Efi tank came with one of those and I ended up having to make the fuel tank work with the factory CCP system to solve it.

Yeah I know, it's more a safety valve to keep fuel from spill in event of a rollover than anything.

I already had it hooked up to my tank already for about a year already on a bracket. I haven't noticed anything too crazy as far as fumes. Maybe on a super hot day I might smell something. But my shop def wasn't full of gas smell 24/7.

Ive went back and forth on making some sort of evap system to tie in with my holley efi....but decided I don't really want to mess with it lol.

Part of putting my axle back in is prepping my leafs for the CPP traction bars wife for me for christmas. I had to press out the rubber bushings in the front of the leafs and replace them with the plastic bushings CPP supplied in the kit. Not sure what the material is lol...but it's what they use in their control arms I got from them....maybe a delrin type bushing?

I got a Harbor Freight press a few weeks ago from the wife as a birthday present...I'm glad I put that on my list now lol. Made removing those rubber bushings WAY easier

It's well worth getting one of these, I know people knock harbor freights sometimes but at $129 on sale it was well worth it. I want to use it to press some speaker grills at some point too.
