Hey guys im new to this website and this is my first post. I recently ended up picking up a 1980 camaro z28 for $500. It came as a roller with no engine or trans and missing ALOT of things. very rusted and poor condition but I saw alot of potential in it. So far I installed the new hood, sanded and painted the engine bay, swapped front fenders and bumper, painted the trunk and cleaned the interior. started on some body work for it too.

Doesn't look like there's any 80 parts left on it... The dash, door panels, grill are all from earlier models.
If the floors and frame rails are solid... You've got yourself a pretty good project.

Just keep in mind that some of the 80 suspension parts are different. (Control arm bushings, for example.)

    Good work so far!
