Yes,It's The Long Island Camaro Club. Anthony still runs it. He has a shop for Camaros.
Had the carburetor rebuilt and anodized by Holley. They do restorations.
The engine was ballanced and blueprinted and put back together to 1970 LT-1 specifications.
Could I trouble you for a photo of the other side of the carb with the air cleaner removed? I'm interested in the rear fuel line support bracket that bolts to the carb to manifold stud. Interested in the finish (plating, paint, color etc).
Thanks and nice car.
Is your 2nd accelerator spring just a safety thing because in 77-81 Z28's that I was buying new, the spring
was doubled up with a blue and silver one. (one inside the other).
It was not on the car when I bought it I bought a bracket from Ground Up and never installed it Still sitting in the bag There is a 1100 mile Z28 on the internet with pictures maybe you can see it there.
I guess your talking about the upper spring? It was on the carburetor when I bought the Z28 so I left it. I did not know if it was correct or not.
Yeah, got Charlie Lillards (former owner)1100 mile car bookmarked and refer to it , but the bracket is pretty rusted. That car has a lot of surface rust on things. I think it was stored in a very humid-moist environment.
The lower return spring has a greenish color
