my first dip.

    I don't do firearms myself. I don't have a FFL and really don't want the red tape that goes with it

    That looks sweet! So how does that work? You can get different patterns in sheets, and it adheres to whatever your working with? Obviously it is more complicated than that, but is that the gist?

    Pretty close there is Lots of different patterns. The prep is the most important part. Dipping is a art by its self from angles and speed.

    Very cool.

    When you tighten down bolts like on the timong cover does it strip off the coating?

    It does have a clear coat that will come off under tighting. i tell people to just use a razor blade and trim around ever so little so the part around it dont chip off also.

    With word of mouth, CL ads, etc. you should be able to recoup your investment and then some.
