Speartech, I have heard a lot of good things about him and he has been very helpful with some questions I have asked him.

I hear they're good. Expensive sometimes, but good. After the frustration you've had it's got to feel good knowing you'll get it back right this time.

Yeah, I am tired of fighting a problem that I cannot seem to track down. John at Speartech said he will troubleshoot both the harness and the computer then get back to me. At that point all the necessary changes will be made. I hate spending all this money twice, but I really have nowhere else to go.

When there are other people who have used Speartech and their swapped LS1 engine fires up the first turn of the key I have faith that John can do it right for my LT1.

Thanks again for you help Dave and drptop!:)

I've never heard a bad thing about Speartech, not one word. You'll be rolling in no time. I think the fact he's willing to trouble shoot your harness speaks volumes of how comfortable he is with the stuff, and his business.

I believe John was an engineer for GM in this area, and from what I have read you are dealing with the best, he will get it sorted out.

Nope, not yet. Speartech should have the harness and computer by now. If I don't hear anything near the end of the week I will give him a call so see how progress is going. Once I do find out you will be the first to know Dave!:)

Okay, a small update, I got my computer and wiring harness back from Speartech today. It was a pleasure doing business with him. He troubleshooted the harness and came to the conclusion that it was junk.

Jeff Roberts, the first person who worked on the harness butchered it. John at Speartech was able to convert it to his design and got it working properly using his equipment.

I started reinstalling the harness today and I hope to have it done soon as there only are a few wires left to hook up. I can only hope now it will fire up but I have the confidence in Speartech's work that it will.

John did my ECM and harness modification for my LS1.

He came VERY highly recommended across the LS1 forums.
He's awesome for continuing support as well.

BTW - He was the cheapest place to get the Vette fuel filter / regulator from too.
    Good luck, keep us posted.
