That's why I went with all new GM sensors and actuators.

Just make sure you ignition 12v source is a true ignition 12v source, and doesn't go away when it's cranking :(

That sucks. I definitely would not run it for the reasons Cali posted. You certainly don't want it in the back of your mind as you're cruising around trying to enjoy the car.

My wiring harness came in today from Jim's Performance. I haven't even bothered to open the box yet....still bummed over having to rebuild the motor before trying out his work.

Well....I opened the box and stretched out the harness...he has labled it all for me and wrote all sorts of notes about each connection. Now I'll just have to take it one connection at a time and get the car all wired up, mount the computer and wait for the motor to be rebuilt.

Speaking of this...since my car is wired for an alternator with an external regular...I need to convert all of that over as well since this motor has the high amp internal regular alternator. Should I use the kit from Mad Electrical for this?

Look on the bright side. It'll be much easier to get into the engine compartment to route the wires and stuff before the engine gets in.

Mike what are your thoughts on gutting the air pump vs using a delete pulley?...
