    newschool72 build pics....DONE ! revised ! look below

guys, its been 13 months , 1500+ hrs, and a bunch of $$$$$, but im finally done! i didn't take the time to take pics of every detail of the build, but did manage to get a few pics along the way. thought id post them up for yall to see. there is a you tube vid on the carbed lsx forum too if u care to see it.im going to throw in a pic of my arm after my home made steam vent splice blew about a foot from me. its running an LS3 crate motor with a compcam LSR269-13, a victor jr and fast EZ-efi, 1 7/8 long tubes. 2 1/2 in stainless PYPES exhaust w an x-pipe. the tranny is a 2004r w a 2200 lock-up converter. an 8.5 10 bolt w Eaton posi and 3.42 gears. hotchkis TVS suspension and 4 wheel disks ( 13" all around) makes it turn and stop. i built it myself in my 2 car garage . i even did my own excuse of a paint job. hope u enjoy it. give me some feedback. thanks

after alot of cleaning, wire brushing, and stripping , i painted the subframe, a-arms, rearend and 1000 other little bits in satin black 2 part epoxy. i cleaned and sanded the underside and smoothed the firewall. after a lot of discussion with my wife and kids, we decides on summits blue metallic paint. i painted the underside and firewall, and the reconstruction begins.

Oh, i almost forgot my battle wound. This is what can happen when 220 deg. water and steam hits your arm . I made my own steam bleed for my heads into the upper rad. hose. It blew when i reached in to blip the throttle. Always flange the ends so the hose has something to hang on. Hard lesson to learn!
