Kit came yesterday, beautiful weather today, but wifey had other things to do,Rain expected tomorrow, and cold next 3 days but I will keep posted.I'll try to post some pics,I'm getting adventurous-Just got a cassette adapter for the 8 track so I can use those new fangled cassettes-maybe I can handle that camera after all-Later Steve!!
Your local track never looked at the rule book?? IHRA, NHRA and likely the circle track sanctioning bodies prohibit more than 12" of rubber line.
They do not consider high pressure transmission line the same as rubber fuel line. That's what I was told.
I installed the lines yesterday, very easy job, nice material and fittings.return line was a little long I trimmed one end as it was 2 piece with union.Being from on a roll it does have a little memory or coil so I was careful to straighten it before tightening/clamping on but no biggie.I made a couple of straps to route the lines close to the floor at trans [I'm anal] but a great alternative for a crappy problem.I asked the wife to use the camera and got "the look" [if you're married you know it well] I'll try to take some pics today when she's not around-I'd recommend the nylon lines to anyone-Thanks for the help and re-assurance Later Steve!!
Pics attached also added some pics of truck, body is so clean, bottom is a mess, still feel like a hack cutting that hole, but I'll get over it Later Steve!!
