Hey everyone thought i'd post my project 78 camaro rally sport. I bought it back in the fall it's a one owner car bought new in 78 and has sat in a barn since 1998, i have the interior ripped out so far and plan on getting back to work on it soon once the snow is gone!

It has the original 350, runs good but needs new battery and tune up

Great car to restore, not many RS around here anymore, good luck with your project.

Is this a life long Ontario car? Even after 20 years amazing that it's not a rust bucket. Looks like a great project base. Restoring to original or a restore mod?

Ya it's been in ontario all its life, as for the work it will stay original for the most part but i was never a fan of the 2 tone rally sport paint so for now i will be eventually going with a satin black while keeping the original interior and motor/trans. Will be doing a bit of work down the road to the engine, suspension etc but nothing to crazy, was just looking more for a fun cruiser.

Too bad about the two tone paint idea, I think that is what made those cars stand out from other 78-81 Camaros back in the day. Rarely do you see that paint scheme anymore, a shame IMO.
