Original GM 1" front sway bar from my 71 Z28. This is correct for a 70-72 Z28. Comes with mounting brackets and bushings with approximately 6K miles on them. Selling just the front bar, rear 11/16" has already been sold. $75 plus shipping and PayPal fees. IMG_20190930_091133520.jpg IMG_20190930_091013766.jpg

Sure is. Thought it was sold but guy needs a 15/16" bar for his 1973. Will post on Ebay this weekend at a higher price.

GM called the front Z-28 and F41 suspension sway bars 1 inch, but they were really 15/16 inches in diameter. I have measured some and the Z-28 front was the same as my two 1970 SS 396 Camaro's which is 15/16 inches. Look at the 1970 Camaro assembly manual and there are only two part numbers for front bar. The standard one is 11/16 inches and the other is 15/16 inches in diameter. Check manual.

Just checked the diameter (again) of the 1" front bar from my 71 Z28 and I know for a fact it is original to the car as was the 11/16" rear bar I removed from and sold to a Nastyz28 member recently. Same car. My front bar is 1", a 15/16" open end wrench does not fit on it where as a 1" open end wrench fits over it. Long ago I miked it and although I don't remember the exact measure in thousands, it was 1".
