    Anyone have pics of a LS motor installed in a @nd gen car also is it worth pulling my big block and doing a LS motor swap.

    Ummm....Why pull out a perfectly operating BBC to put in a LS1? Unless you have the cash flow, and really want to do it...I would keep the little cash I had in my pocket.

    I say no, its not worth it. IMHO buy a 4th gen if you want the luxory of it.

    I need to build the big block and the LS thing is just an idea I am throwing around.

    Well if your starting from scratch, an LS1 is a good option out there.

    you can always throw a carb intake on the LS engine too!

    Jake is doing my conversion now. ly6 with 4l80e.
    I had a perfectly running 550+hp solid roller 383 but gas mileage sucked. So now I am going to get 500+hp and at least twice the mileage and better street manners. Should be done within a couple of weeks. There are pics in this section.

    30+ year old muscle car and you're worried about gas mileage :rolleyes:

    Whats wrong with this picture... Buy a modern car :confused:

    I didnt think people drove around their 2nd gen so much, they worry about economy...:eek:

    Gas mileage in a 2nd gen car what is that I dont know if my car will go 10 miles or 300 miles on a tank of gas only because I dont care how much gas it burns.:) :) :) :)

    Because I cant understand why people ditch practically brand new motors to have better "fuel economy"...

    Nothing wrong with LS at all
