I had my car on a mustang dyno today. I guess it reads lower than dynojet by about 10% which is what most people use. If this is true for my car.

My car is pushing 266hp and 374 tq mustang or 292hp and 411tq at wheels via dynojet standard.

My friend just bought a 500hp vet and is going to dyno it on a dynojet for fun, the person said if we did it together would be dirt cheap, so maybe get a dynojet one soon for fun.

My car is 3.31 gears, and has a speed limiter of 120, I’m not sure if that affects my numbers or not.

I would have expected the peak hp RPM to be higher on a 4 banger.

Well I found out, irs because of my limiter on my car.

everyone else’s w performance pack (145 limit) and after market tunes remove limit their car climbs all way to 6k

meanwhile mine completely gimps it. this is same tune I have but it’s on a performance pack w higher speed limit 145.

to top it off doesn’t help that my car has the base 3.31 gears so I hit 120mph early vs others 3.55 and 3.73 performance cars.

So I can’t get an accurate dyno due to my limitor. But my peak numbers are true, people are posting saying expect my car 300hp/400tq+ on a dynojet for peak.

Little letdown couldn’t get a full dyno due to speed limit, but honestly. With the 400-420lbs torque it’s an absolute blast to drive. Throws you in seat for spirited daily driving

the ford performance dyno sheet is old too, they revised it a few times since then and the 18+ cars same engine are getting 420tq.

Pretty sure they gave the same adjustments to my tune. they just don’t post new graphs other than when originally released.

the ford tune unfortunately doesn’t remove the speed limit or unlike aftermarket ones. Must be liability

I can't blame her, my 71 will be sunflower yellow when it is done, the original colour of the Camaro I grew up in and learned to drive in.
