Putting a Serpentine System on My '78 Z

    I’m surprised to see you had to drill. A 3rd gen serpentine was a direct bolt on for my 78z

    The thread is from 2011, and he used old heads, one's that didn't have the holes, great thread !

    I run a 3rd gen setup. My old heads didn't have that hole. i just ran without that bolt, no problem. My new AFRs have that extra hole so in added those bolts.

    This is a note from instructions that came with my GM kit;
    Note: Depending on which cylinder head is being used, Bolt 14091547 may not be able to be installed. If this bolt
    cannot be installed, continue on to the next stage. The system was tested without this bolt installed and no problems
    were noted.
