I don't know how versed you are with vegetable additions, but we are trying
to jazz up our veggie intake instead of carbs so my wife is getting creative.

Cauliflower Rice is simple, and excellent.
We spray it with oil or butter, and then add garlic and onion/salt powder for taste.
Bake for a short term in the oven , I forget the temps and time.

That is an excellent idea, the recipe calls for coconut oil and sometimes you can get a hint of coconut from it. That could change the flavor profile away from the bitter cauliflower.

The garlic would be great as you mentioned I like that on potatoes. I usually add a little chicken stock when I mash mine.

The cauliflower can also be added to or made as mash potatoes. I tried it once with out a recipe and it was ok.

Ever heard of "smoking a fatty"?

I'm not talking about the herb, or shooting a fat person.

It is a bacon wrapped stuffed sausage roll.

There are a ton of recipe's for it online.

I have made a few on my smoker and they are killer. They could also be made in a oven.

    An alternative method:

Make a meatzza, or meat pizza.

Again there are a lot of recipe's you can look up for this.

Roll out some sausage (or sausage mixed with ground meat, turkey, beef etc.) In a gallon baggie till flat.

Then cut it open and cook it till its safe to eat.

Add toppings and melt some cheese on it.

You could do traditional pizza toppings or make it like a margarita pizza with tomatoes and basil. Or even go with other things like spinach and smoked gouda cheese.

Ok guys, it doesn't get any easier than this...

    - Pick up chicken pieces- breasts, legs, thighs, wings

    - Pick up one bottle of Italian dressing

    PREP~
    ---------

    1. Clean chicken pieces under cold running water
    2. Place chicken in large bowl
    3. Pour bottle of Italian dressing over chicken
    4. Marinate chicken in fridge overnight (optional)
    5. Bake chicken on cookie sheet, 350 for 45 minutes...DONE!

Don't trip on yer way to the table!

Seasoning packets are less then 1/3 the cost of dressing bottles. :)

We use these guys for cooking and if you follow the recipe on the back, it's the same dressing Joe's Crab Shack uses for their Vinaigrette.

This is a real easy and quick yummy dinner in a pot

couple cans of green beans , some whole canned potatoes ( or peel and cut reg potatoes ) , one small onion cut up ( or half a large ) , a package of smoked polish sausage cut into semi thin circles.

Just cook it all together and seaon with salt and pepper to taste.
