What is the overall width, height and thickness and the inlet and outlet size of the original SB cooler in a 72? I don't have the Camaro close to me at the moment so I can't check it out for myself.

I'm thinking of getting a new one for my 72 because the original radiator doesn't have enough capacity to keep the engine cool on hot days and I have to order a new one soon to get the stuff overhere before the summer

I'm thinking about Be Cool or Griffin, anyone else using one of those?

Do a search for an aluminum radiator on here....lots of different things...

If you want 'stock' size, they make them, but THOSE are $$$$...

There are some out there that are cheaper, but some work is needed to make them fit properly.

You'll find this radiator cooling higher HP cars with ease.

The Picture is a LINK to the complete description of the Radiator.
It is the EXACT FIT, radiator for the AC or HD cooling system cars.
If you have the small V8 or 6cyl non ac radiator, its time to upgrade anyway.
Get the longer top radiator panel, and fan shroud.

These radiators will set you back about a cool $125 at your local AZ, CSK, O'Rielly etc.

    Now I see.

    Then my original radiator is a 20 3/4" x 17" x 1 1/4" because it's a original 307 cui no AC car.

Would it be possible for me to change it to a hevy duty radiator 26 3/8" x 17" x 2" if I get a new upper radiator mounting panel?

What's the difference between the radiators on a non AC car and a AC car? I mean does a AC car have a seperate cooler for the AC or is the AC cooler built into the engines radiator?
