Rear seat selt belts

    So front seat belts were easy to find (got some Morris classic ones) but I checked their website and didn't see any rear seat belts.

    Any ideas?

    I'm mounting shoulder belts from a mid '90's Couger in the rear deck on mine. Others have used rears from a fox body mustang coupe.

    Check my progress thread to see my mock up on the Cougar ones.

    rear seatbelts

    We are working on a bolt in set for GM Cars. We have the 67-69 rear ones completed and tested. Going to start manufacturing soon. Don't do like a lot of people and just drill a hole thru the rear panel and bolt a set to the rear panel, it isn't reinforced to hold the load put on it in the event of an accident. Billy

    GM did. The mounts are there.

    I put a large reinforcement under it. If that pulls out I fear what the rest of the car might look like.

    I look forward to your rear 1st gen belts!

    Yep,it actually mentions the optional shoulder belts in my '79 owners manual.

    I have looked at the GM drawing, it shows a double thickness panel all the way across which I have never seen in an actual car. But good that you reinforced the mounting point

    3 point rear seat belts

    We received our test results for the rear brackets for the 3 points.
    We are pleased. Making laser files to cut brackets. We will have them for sale soon. Look at our Christmas Sale on Pro-Touring.
