Rear subframe repair or replacement

    Just bought a 1977 camaro rear pass side subframe right where in turns down has a hole rest of the subframe is clean I see that they sell replacement rails is there any write up on doing it I hear it's a hell of a job to do, I want to do it as right as possible and make it look as original as possible

    I had the same rust on my 70. My body man did the repair perfectly. We drilled out the spotwelds, stepped the end down to slide inside the original rail and stitch welded it. Drilled where the orig spotwelds were, and plug welded them. Invisible repair!
